Each day will begin at 6:00am and finish at 10pm. This format of fourteen full days of classes allows students to accelerate their learning, giving them an opportunity to take a break from the demands of everyday life and commit themselves to the experience of immersing themselves in a blissful Yoga teacher training. The course aims to facilitate transformations in each students personal Yoga practice, integrate that personal journey with the skills that allow them to share Yoga as a highly qualified teacher.

The venue for Bodhi Yoga Teacher Training is a beautiful resort called Prashanti, which is located in Ubud Bali.

The Bodhi Yoga Teacher Training is based on the teachings of Yoga that come from the tradition and lineage of Hatha Yoga.

2. Yoga anatomy, physiology and subtle energy systems

Applied western anatomy and physiology
Subtle yogic physiology and energy systems of prana, nadis, kundalini, chakras

3. Yoga techniques and integrated yoga practice
Including classical and modern techniques of:
Asana (yoga postures)
Pranayama (breathing techniques)
Meditation
Mantra, sound and visualisation
Principles of yoga practice
Attendance at general yoga classes
Development of a guided personal yoga practice
Professional mentoring

4. Teaching methodologies and integrated teaching practice

This course can be added towards the hours needed to earn a 200hr or 500hr Yoga Teacher Training certification. It is also suitable and useful for current Yoga Teachers who want to develop and deepen their personal practice and teaching skills.

This is a 50-hour training designed for both Yoga Teachers and students simply who would like to explore the practice deeply. Marcus will give you the tools to take your practice to a level that empowers you with wisdom and peace.

– the ability to creatively sequence yin yoga classes for all levels of students.

The course aims to facilitate transformations in each students personal Yoga practice, integrate that personal journey with the skills that allow them to share Yoga as a highly qualified teacher.

The venue for Bodhi Yoga Teacher Training in Bali is a beautiful Yoga space nestled amongst the rice fields in Ubud.

This Yin Yoga Teacher Training is based on the teachings of Yoga that come from the tradition and lineage of Taoist Yoga. 

The 50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course Curriculum will include the following:

1. Anatomy and Physiology specific to Yin Yoga

2. Modifications and Safety in Yin Yoga, including the use of props

3. Anatomy of the Subtle Body (meridians)

4. Awareness practice in Yin Yoga (methods of meditation)

5. Sequencing in Yin Yoga (including sequences that are based on the seasons)

6. Organs and Meridian Health (using yin yoga to affect specific organs)

7. Yin and Yang Theory (basic Taoist theory and the principles of yin and yang – how they are applied to yoga)

9. Pranayama (breathing techniques) for healing and relaxation

*Whilst this training is designed to qualified Yoga Teachers wishing to teach Yin Yoga classes, this training is also open to dedicated practitioners of yoga, with the intention to use the knowledge to deepen one’s own understanding and practice.

11 – 12 Opening Ceremony – Introducing ourselves and getting to know each other

12 – 2pm Introduction to Yin Yoga – Essential concepts and how it works on a physical level of the myofascia

2pm – 2.30pm 30 minute break

2.30 – 4pm Yin Yoga Practice led by the Teacher Marcus Julian Felicetti

4pm – 5.30pm – How healing happens at a deep energetic level – clearing mental emotional blocks – and how as a Yin Yoga Teacher you guide people through Awareness practice

5.30pm – 6pm  30 minute break

6pm – 9pm Breaking down individual lower body Yin Yoga postures and their adjustments – and then practicing teaching them one on one with a partner

9pm – end of the day

11am – 2pm Learning the locations of the lower body meridians and tracing the meridians on each other

2pm – 2.30pm 30 minute break

2.30 – 4pm Five Element theory and how specific Yin Yoga postures help heal certain conditions and diseases and relate to the seasons

The 50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course Curriculum will include the following:

1. Anatomy and Physiology specific to Yin Yoga

2. Modifications and Adjustments in Yin Yoga, including the use of props

3. Anatomy of the Subtle Body (meridians)
